You were given the gift of another day to be remarkable, not average. So don’t waste it settling for behavior, work or personalities that don’t speak to your greatness.
Do it, live it, love it – epically.

PLAN by establishing action steps | ACT by taking action on those steps | WIN by finishing all of your action steps

Everyone says love hurts, but that is not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts. Everyone gets these things confused with love, but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all pain and makes someone feel wonderful again. Love is the only thing in this world that does not hurt.
— Liam Neeson
Share an attitude of gratitude. Who has time to judge others, to be petty or jealous, when there are so many blessings for us to count? We should have a strong character, treat others well, and provide the love the world in needs. There simply isn’t time to be a hater.
Give thanks in all circumstances… Someone cut you off in traffic today? Be thankful for a vehicle to get to work. Your co-worker or classmate hogged the credit on a project you did most of the work for? Be thankful for a job, or the opportunity to go to school. Heating bill are higher than expected? Be thankful you have a home to stay warm in. Every situation you encounter leaves room for positive acknowledgement.
When you fill your heart with the love and thankfulness, there is no room left for spite or it’s uglier cousin hatred. Love others. Forgive people. Show compassion. Smile. And share the Positivity so others can tap into the same gratitude you’ve found.
“Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.”
— Douglas MacArthur
“You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope as old as your despair. In the central place of every heart there is a recording chamber. So long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer and courage, so long are you young. When your heart is covered with the snows of pessimism and the ice of cynicism, then, and then only, are you grown old. And then, indeed as the ballad says, you just fade away”
People Will Love You.
People Will Hate You.
And None of it Will Have Anything To Do With You.
“You’ve Been Criticizing Yourself for Years and It Hasn’t Worked. Try Approving of Yourself and See What Happens.”
— Louise Hay
What if you shifted your thinking; what if you showed yourself some love; what if you found a way to feel worthy and enough; what if you acknowledged the fact that you always do your best, but that things just can’t be perfect all the time; what if you cut yourself some slack, like I’m sure you would with your friends.
What do you think would happen? When you find yourself about to think something bad about yourself, call yourself out, apologize, and change your approach to change your life.
“You have two choices, to control your mind or to let your mind control you.”
— Paulo Coelho
Your mind is a tool, and like any other tool, it can be used for constructive purposes or destructive purposes.
You can allow your mind to be occupied by unwanted, undesirable, and destructive tenants, or you can choose desirable tenants like peace, gratitude, compassion, love, and joy.
Your mind can become your best friend, your biggest supporter, and someone you can count on to be there and encourage you. You can be in control of your thoughts. The choice is yours!
More money does give you more freedom, but it doesn’t mean you will be happier.
When you begin to focus on what truly matters, this void that you previously tried to fill with meaningless material items will diminish. Of course treating yourself every once in a while is only natural, but for the most part, you should learn to be happy with what you have.
Less is more.
Researchers estimate that we have 40,000 – 70,000 thoughts every single day. As we go through our day having these thousands of thoughts, we don’t question them. We just believe whatever the thoughts are.
Believing all of our thoughts gives them a lot of power. They can make us feel good or bad, helpful or helpless, bright or glum.
One of the ways to manage the power of our thoughts is to focus on positivity.
Your mind will always believe everything you tell it.
Feed it faith.
Feed it truth.
Feed it with love.
The winners in life think constantly in terms of ‘ I can, I will, and I am.’
Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts
on what they should have done, or what they don’t do.
Denis Waitley
Our thoughts direct everything we do. They are the most important factor in our success and in our failure. You can make this bold statement because everything starts with a thought. EVERYTHING! Successful people talk to themselves in a powerful and productive way to keep them on task and believing in their future.
Focus on staying calm. Stay focused on staying in a loving, compassionate place.
